"Freedom" Summer Art Show by Alpha Arts Guild - Gallery at Avalon

Updated: Aug 15, 2022

July 21, 2019: This year I joined the Alpha Arts Guild in Alpharetta as member and was thrilled to participate with several works in their "Freedom" summer art show at the Gallery at Avalon! I submitted three pieces which were all inspired by my recent trip to Oregon where I visited the coast, rolling hills, vineyards and pastures south of Portland, and the Portland area. There was an opening show reception on May 23 where several participating artists and other guild members were in attendance, including the featured artist for the show. The "freedom" theme allowed room for the artists to interpret what a freedom theme meant for the artist, such as freedom of medium, size, style, or subject. The exhibit includes a variety of beautiful styles and runs through the summer, with most of the works for sale. If you're at Avalon, be sure to stop by the exhibit which is installed in the corridors of Buildings 5000 & 6000 (accessible weekdays between 6am and 6pm).
